For a while I...

My first semester of college was interesting in every WORLDLY sence you can think of! Yes, EVERY!

For a while i lost myself in the "treasure" of this WORLD.
For a while i lost myself to the "fleshly" needs
I turned my back towards him.
That light that was at one point so bright and clear infront of me, well,
was behind me then and I was filled me was darkness.
For a while i looked in the mirror and saw nothing that resembles him,
nothing that spoke of his glory and goodness!
For a while I started to build a highway to hell and was driving a car traveling at 100mph.
For a while my values, morals and beliefs flew out of the window when freedom and space set in!
For a while i became someone else and less of the person he called me to be
I become a follower and less of a leader
For a while i forgot that he that was in me is WAY greater than he thas is in me
For a while i forgot all about John 3:16
For a while the enemy was rejoycing over my stupidity and for a while probably thought he won!

Then...
I sat down and took the time
I took the time to reflect,
I took the time to repent
I took the time to retrace the foot steps that led to that mess

I am now taking the time to love God first!
Afterall the greatest commandment is....
LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, MIND, HEART AND WITH ALL YOUR STRENGTH!
